Andalucía weekend weather forecast April 16–19: Warm sunshine and a few cloudy spells

Mostly dry, very mild days with temperatures warming up further across the region

After the warmer, brighter spell of the past few days, Andalucía stays on a settled and pleasantly springlike footing through the weekend, with temperatures warming up further and many places sitting in the mid to high 20s°C and even the low 30s°C in some inland places. There will still be plenty of sunshine for most areas, although a bit more cloud may drift in at times and the Strait could see a stronger easterly breeze.

Thursday looks fine and warm, with partly cloudy or clear skies and just some high cloud drifting in during the afternoon. Temperatures rise again, with a more noticeable increase in the eastern mountains, and many places are sitting in the mid to high 20s °C. Winds stay light and variable, so it should feel comfortable across much of the region, including Córdoba and Huelva.

Friday April 17

Friday turns a touch cloudier, with a blanket of high cloud overhead and some daytime cloud build-up over the mountains. Temperatures either edge up a little or hold steady, and Seville is set to reach 32°C, making it one of the warmest spots in the region. Winds remain light and variable for most places, but they will be predominantly easterly, with stronger easterlies around Cádiz and in the Strait of Gibraltar around Tarifa.

Saturday April 18

Saturday brings mostly clear or sunny skies for much of Andalucía, though cloud may increase a little over the eastern mountains later in the day and a stray shower cannot be ruled out there. Temperatures stay fairly steady, so it remains warm without any big change from Friday. Light and variable winds keep conditions pleasant, especially in inland areas such as Granada and Jaén.

Sunday April 19

Sunday stays settled too, with partly cloudy skies and some high cloud moving through during the second half of the day. Temperatures change very little, so it should remain warm and comfortable for April, including along the coast in Málaga and Almería. Winds are light and variable once again, giving the weekend a calm finish.

This mild, mostly dry pattern looks set to continue beyond Sunday, with Andalucía holding on to plenty of spring sunshine.
