November 28 to December 14 Annual patron saint fiestas in Totana
Totana celebrates the feast day of Santa Eulalia de Mérida with a major romería, processions, a medieval market and loads of live music!
Between 28th November and 14th December Totana celebrates its annual fiestas in honour of Santa Eulalia, a processional figure of whom spends most of the year in the sanctuary of La Santa high above Totana in the mountains of Sierra Espuña. Every year she is carried down into Totana on 8th December, two days before her feast day, for the festive season, and to mark the occasion many events are held as the town celebrates her presence until she returns to her mountain sanctuary on 7th January.
Throughout the fiestas there is a funfair at the Recinto Ferial, which is in the residential area of Totana in the heart of a modern urbanisation heading out towards Sierra Espuña.
