This week across Spain looks mixed with unsettled conditions mainly in northern and eastern areas, while southern and western regions enjoy drier, sunnier spells with pleasant temperatures. Storms are likely in the northeast and Balearics, with temperatures cooling in the north but remaining warm in southern Spain. Winds will be fresh to moderate, especially along exposed coasts and the Canary Islands.Monday September 8
Cloudy skies and periods of rain will dominate much of northern Spain. Showers could be heavy and stormy in the northeast. Elsewhere, expect cloud with some morning fog in the north and over the Balearic Islands. Temperatures will dip in the northeast but rise slightly in central and western parts, including southern Spain where warmth remains. Winds mostly light to moderate, picking up along Atlantic and northern coasts, with fresh trade winds in the Canaries.Tuesday September 9
Unsettled weather continues in the east and the Balearics, with heavy showers and storms possible, bringing localised downpours and even hail. Rain and cloud cover will also affect parts of north-western Spain, while the southwest and south mostly stay dry with sunny intervals.
