Camposol B Clean volunteers roll up their sleeves for another big tidy-up
Work has focused on the rambla along C/Sierra de la Torrecilla, and more work is planned in the coming weeks

For the past three weeks, the Camposol B Clean volunteer group has been working along Calle Sierra de la Torrecilla, focusing on the area beside the rambla between the bridge roundabout and the bottom of the dual carriageway.
The rambla, the dry river bed, can become overgrown if left unattended, so regular maintenance makes a big difference.
The group has been getting stuck into a range of jobs to tidy things up. Overhanging trees have been cut back to open up the space, verges have been treated to keep weeds under control, and kerbs have been cleared, weeded and swept. This kind of work is very tedious and time-consuming but it makes a big difference once completed. The area is now much tidier and easier to pass through.
Work will continue next week, with attention turning to the rockery on the corner of Calle Cyclamen near the bridge roundabout. Once that is finished, the area should be in good shape heading into the summer months.
B Clean is a volunteer group that works around Camposol to help maintain and tidy shared public areas. The group is always open to new volunteers, and anyone able to spare a couple of hours on a Tuesday morning is welcome to join.
