Mostly sunny skies and rising temperatures: Alicante weekend weather June 11-14
After a cloudy start on Thursday, Alicante province is expected to enjoy several days of sunshine, light winds, and gradually warmer temperatures

After a week of sunshine, cloud and cooler temperatures across Alicante province the weekend forecast points to a return to warmer weather. Apart from some cloud on Thursday and a slight chance of isolated showers, forecasters are expecting mostly sunny skies, light winds and temperatures that will gradually climb over the weekend. Let’s take a look at the daily breakdown:
Thursday June 11
Thursday will start with some cloud across parts of Alicante Province and there is a small chance of a few light showers in isolated areas. Conditions should improve as the day goes on, with sunshine returning during the afternoon, although some cloud may linger.
Temperatures will remain similar to recent days, while easterly winds along the coast could become moderate at times. Elsewhere, winds will be light for much of the morning before picking up slightly later in the day.
Friday June 12
Friday will be sunny with the occasional cloudy spell. Temperatures will start edging back up into the high twenties with a maximum temperature of 28°C.
Along the southern coast, a moderate north-easterly breeze is expected, while inland areas should see generally light winds becoming a little stronger during the afternoon.
Saturday June 13
The weekend looks set to get off to a bright start, with sunny skies across much of Alicante province and very little cloud expected.
Temperatures are forecast to rise slightly with a maximum of 31°C. A moderate north-easterly breeze will continue along the southern coastline, while elsewhere winds will be light before turning easterly and south-easterly around lunchtime.
Sunday June 14
Sunday is expected to be another largely sunny and dry day, with only a few clouds passing through at times.
Temperatures will remain warm, with some areas seeing a slight increase. Winds will be light during the morning before an easterly and south-easterly breeze develops later in the day.
All in all, it looks like a pretty pleasant weekend for Alicante province, with plenty of sunshine and temperatures creeping up, but nothing extreme. As always, with the sun making more of an appearance, it’s a good idea to stay hydrated, take it easy in the heat of the day, and make the most of the shade when you can.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in the Alicante Province:

Thursday June 11: Min 16ºC, Max 28ºC
Friday June 12: Min 18ºC, Max 28ºC
Saturday June 13: Min 17ºC, Max 31ºC
Sunday June 14: Min 17ºC, Max 31ºC
